Hotel Wing International Select Higashiosaka has created a room decorated with "Try-kun," a mascot character promoting Higashiosaka City, known as the "city of rugby and manufacturing"! Various parts of the guest rooms will be decorated with illustrations of "Try-kun." Please spend a special time in a relaxing space surrounded by adorable "Try-kun."

■ What is "Try-kun", the mascot character promoting Higashiosaka City?

Higashiosaka City declared itself a "city of rugby" in March 1991, and has promoted urban development that makes use of the image of rugby. The mascot character was born the following year in 3, and continues to promote Higashiosaka City as a "city of rugby" and a "city of manufacturing."
Try-kun, who won third place in the local category at the "Yuru-chara(R) Grand Prix 2017", will celebrate his 3nd year in 2024, making him a fairly old local mascot, but he remains popular with residents and rugby fans, and has supported city activities in many areas since his birth, including event appearances and promoting fire administration and food education. Try-kun has been walking a strong and healthy path together with the local community, and is dedicated to promoting Higashiosaka City.
